Meetup Groups are today's support groups, parent playgroups, citizen groups, fitness groups, book clubs, professional groups, and other powerful local groups!

RSVP Policy

When you RSVP "Yes" you are expected to show up. If your plans change, you are expected to update your RSVP. Try to update your RSVP at least a day before the event but even a last minute change might give someone else an opportunity to attend the event.

We have RSVP limits on most of our events to ensure the best experience for everyone. Since our events are usually FULL i.e. at the RSVP limit, when you RSVP "Yes" but don't show up, you're taking the opportunity to attend that event from another member.



As a result of consistent "no-shows" we are tracking them and are enforcing this policy:


  • 3 no-shows within 2 months = warning
  • 5 no-shows within 2 months = removal from group
