Welcome, New York Tennis Players & Socialites!

Welcome to Upper Manhattan Tennis, the most active tennis Meetup in NYC! Regardless of your skill level, if you love the sport, you're in the right place. We welcome everyone, and whether you want to play sets or just hit around and work on your game, you'll find plenty of friendly people interested in exactly the same thing.

All you need to bring is your racquet and whatever you'd like to eat or drink other than fountain water -- we provide fresh tennis balls, player matching and sometimes even a little coaching. Please do be aware, though, that whenever the courts are crowded, which is most of the time, we stick to playing doubles in order to make sure everyone gets as much court time as possible. There are opportunities for singles, though, generally either early in the morning or late in the afternoon, or in the summer, in the middle of the day. And occasionally, when we aren't able to get enough courts, we have to take turns rotating on and off. Usually, though, it's all tennis all the time!

We'll also be including some non-tennis events, such as concerts, billiards and other social activities throughout the year to give our tennis members a chance to mingle during bad weather and to meet other fun non-tennis players!
