Hi Friends:Good news. So far we've got 8 new members in one week! I hope you are as anxious as I am to get out on the court and hit. So, I've reserved a court for Thursday March 13 at 7:00 pm at the Soi Klang Racquet Club. This is a fairly nice facility with indoor tennis courts, so rain or shine we'll be playing. They tell me the court has the same surface as used in the Australian Open. WOW. There are 7 courts there so if we have a good showing we should reserve another court so that we all get to hit. (Make sure you let me know as soon as possible that you'll be coming so I can make the appropriate arrangements. Over the next few meetings I hope to get us to play on a number of different courts in and around central Bangkok so that we can find out what facilities are available and what they have to offer.
Soi Klang Racquet Club is on Sukhumvhit 49. Its very deep into the soi on the right hand side if you are coming from Sukhumvhit. You'll have to pass a fairly large hospital and then start looking out for Soi Klang 49/9. Make a right on Soi Klang and you'll see the facility.
